Last week one of our software products, PitchR, was featured in a segment on MLB Network about Effective Velocity. The short video below is a portion of the segment broken down by Carlos Pena. Our industry-leading visuals show the “ring” that Trevor Bauer’s pitches travel through at 18 feet from his release point and then again at 36 feet to visualize how his pitches tunnel effectively, making it difficult for hitters to cover his entire arsenal.

Back in August, Lauren Timmermann of Fox Business wrote a piece about the advancements of technology in baseball and the new Hawk-Eye systems that were installed in major league ballparks for the 2020 season. Her article also highlighted our BallR product and talked about the importance of organizations being able to quickly spot flaws in their pitchers during this shortened season.
